Free SEO & AI-Readiness Audit
Paste any URL and get instant scores across 90+ checks. See how search engines and AI answer engines see your website.
Two scores, because search now has two audiences
Most audit tools give you one SEO score. But a page can rank perfectly in Google’s blue links and still be invisible to the AI answer engines — Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude — that increasingly summarise the web before anyone clicks. Those engines reward different things: clear question-and-answer structure, valid structured data, entity clarity, E-E-A-T signals, and crawler access for bots like GPTBot and ClaudeBot. So this tool returns two 0–100 scores — one for classic SEO, one for AI-readiness (AEO) — and tells you exactly what to fix for each.
What the audit checks — 90+ checks, 16 categories

Frequently asked questions
What is an SEO audit?
An SEO audit checks a web page against the signals search engines use to understand and rank it — title tags, meta descriptions, headings, indexability, internal links, image alt text, performance and structured data. This tool runs those checks automatically and returns a score plus a prioritised, plain-English list of what to fix.
What is AI-readiness (AEO), and why does it get its own score?
AEO — Answer Engine Optimisation — is how well a page can be read, understood and quoted by AI answer engines like Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude. It overlaps with SEO but isn’t the same: it rewards clear question-and-answer structure, semantic HTML, valid structured data, E-E-A-T signals and crawler access for bots like GPTBot and ClaudeBot. As search shifts toward AI answers, a page can rank well and still be invisible to the engines that now summarise the web — so we score it separately.
What does the tool actually check?
Over 90 individual checks across 16 categories — six for classic SEO (meta tags, headings, technical SEO, performance and security, links, images) and ten for AI-readiness (AEO readiness, AI crawler access, citation-worthiness, content quality, semantic HTML, E-E-A-T, knowledge-graph signals, structured data, freshness and technical AI readiness). Each finding comes with why it matters and how to fix it.
Is it really free, and do I need to sign up?
Yes — the audit is free and there’s no signup to run it and see your scores and fixes on screen. You can optionally get the full report emailed to you.
How are the two scores calculated?
Each check is weighted by impact and rolls up into two 0–100 scores — one for SEO, one for AI-readiness — so you can see at a glance where a page is strong and where it’s leaking. The report groups issues by severity so you fix the things that move the needle first.
What’s the difference between SEO and AEO?
SEO optimises for ranking in a list of blue links; AEO optimises for being the answer an AI engine gives directly. SEO cares a lot about links and keywords; AEO cares more about clear extractable answers, structured data, entity clarity and whether AI crawlers can access your content. The best pages do both — which is why this tool measures both.
Can I audit any website, or only my own?
Any public URL — your own site, a page you’re about to launch, or a competitor’s. Paste the URL and the crawler fetches and analyses the live page.
How often should I audit a page?
Re-audit whenever you meaningfully change a page, before and after a launch, and periodically as search and AI engines evolve their signals. A quick monthly check on your key pages catches regressions before they cost you.
